This application will monitor the list of applications you specify to make sure they remain running. If one of the applications in the list is shut down, Keeprunn will launch it again. Whenever you modify a field, that field turns yellow indicating a change. When you hit the tab key or the enter key you will advance to the next field and the changes will have been saved. If you select the application to run invisible, you will have to modify the keeprunn.ini file to make it visible again. By putting a shortcut to this application in the startup group, your applications will all launch automatically and be restarted if they are shutdown.

Task List Name - Launch the application that you want to keep running. Ctrl + Alt + Del to bring up the task list. Find the name of the application. This is what goes in the Task List Name Box. If you are using this to keep Metasys running, use MASTER.

Path and File to execute - Enter the full path and file name to execute. (i.e. - c:\fms\bin\metalink.exe) If you are using this to keep Metasys running, use MASTER.

Delay in Seconds - Enter the number of seconds you want to wait before starting the next application.

Run Invisible - When you check this checkbox, a warning will appear stating "This will make Keeprunn invisible now and whenever it is launched. To make it visible again, you must modify the keeprunn.ini file". In order to see the application again you will need to edit the keeprunn.ini file. Under the [Options] section change Invisible=True to Invisible=False. To end the invisible Keeprunn, use Ctrl + Alt + Del to bring up the task list and end the task Keeprunn. Next time you start Keeprunn, it will be visible.

Keep Records - If Keep Records is checked, a file called Keeprunn.log will be generated that will keep track of when Keeprunn started, was closed and all of the times it launched apps. All entries are date and time stamped. This is a text file that can be opened in any text editor.

Check Every ___ Seconds - This is the interval in seconds that the applications are monitored and launched if neccesary.

Suspend button - Stops the countdown, allowing you to modify the entries.

Start button - Resumes countdown.
