Shift Change ReportCreated by Custom Computer Systems Home - Events Tab - Overrides Tab - Setup Tab - Initial Setup Instructions This application requires that Microsoft Excel be installed on the PC. ODBC connections to the JCIEvents and JCIAuditTrails databases must be setup using System DSN. Click here for detailed instructions. This application allows you to schedule a report of the current status of your network at the end of every shift. You can also manually run the reports at anytime. The Events report will show you any report of Alarms, Warnings, Offline and Unreliable points. The Overrides report will show you any point that is currently in an overridden state. The Excel output files can be ordered by Item Name or Date/Time.

The Events are ordered by Item Name. In the Setup Tab you can select how the Excel report is ordered - either by Date or Item Name. Clicking on the Refresh button will update the Events list to the current time. Clicking on the To Excel button will generate the Excel Report. The report will have the Date and Time in the filename in the format "yy-mm-dd hhmm Events.xls" as seen below. The master file Events.xls can be modified to include the company name and any logo graphic desired. You may need to modify the margins or column widths to adjust for your printer.

Setup TabHome - Events Tab - Overrides Tab - Setup Tab - Initial Setup Instructions When clicking on the setup tab, you will be asked to log in. The default password is scr which you can change to whatever you like.

Click here for detailed instructions. 2. When you start the application, it will ask you for the System DSN names for the databases. 3. Go to the Events Tab and click on the Refresh button. You will be prompted to enter the date of how far to look back. 4. Do the same on the Overrided Tab. 5. Go to the Setup Tab. Enter the password scr. 6. De-select Normal and Online from the Events Report List. You can de-select any other status you do not want in the report also. 7. In the Shift Change Report Database Maintenance frame, click on Run. This will optimize the Shift Change Report databases. 8. In the Report Schedule frame, click on the Modify button and enter the times that you want the reports to run. 9. Check the Start In SysTray checkbox. 10. Edit the master files Events.xls and Overrides.xls so they have the company name and any graphic desired. Try running a report to see if the margins or fonts need to be adjusted. 11. Add this application to the Startup group.
