User and Reader Report Generator Setup Instructions
1. Upload the Global database. 2. Upload any NCMs that are involved in security. 3. Click on the Update tab. 4. Click on the Decompile button. (Do not be concerned with errors in the decompile. If this is not the Archive OWS, it will not have the Models database, which will cause errors in the NCM decompile. This is not a problem.) 5. When the Decompile is complete, click on the Update Database button. After clicking on the Update Database button, the list in the update tab contains a list of all NCMs on the network and the date and time of when the NC was uploaded to this OWS. If the list states "No Archive found", this means the NCM was not uploaded to this OWS. This is not a problem if there are no Access Controllers on that NCM. The data in the Access database is only as current as the date listed for the NCM. If changes are made to any Access Controllers, Card Readers or Cards, those changes are not reflected in this application until the steps above are performed.
